Hello,
Client is having an issue getting Excel docs to print full 100%, all on 1 page after getting a new Windows 11 Laptop and installing and using the Windows 11 UPD driver for an HP OJ 8740 printer.
Old setup, Windows 10 HP laptop, same printer, using the Windows 10 version of the UPD. The docs are saved and opened at 98% Scale of the paper. No one is having any issues with this setup, open doc and print and it'll print everything on 1 page. When using this new HP laptop with has Windows 11, it'll print 98% of the file on page 1 and just the last bottom line on page 2.
Can manually change the file to 100% and it does print. Can save the file after changes and it does keep the changes.... client has nearly 1000 Excel docs already, all have 98% and all have worked for printing up to moment, but now not using new Windows 11 Laptop with Windows 11 UPD.
We did try the printer specific HP OJ 8740 print driver and it does the same thing. We also tried the Windows 11 UPD V7.0.1 driver, as well as the Windows 11 Universal PS and PS V7.0.1 drivers. Using the PS drivers does change this a bit, it'll print all the text on 1 page, but have a carriage return at the bottom and print a 2nd blank page.
We need this printing the way it did on the Windows 10 machine, now using a new laptop using Windows 11.

Source and try the Smart UPD V4 drivers that HP now offers as they will likely perform better. Your printer is not listed as currently supported but I have used it with several printers not listed as supported with no issues.
You can find the driver on this page.
