Windows 11 under print preference color option is not available.
Steps Open Word document--> Print-->select the printer --> Printer properties --> Go to Paper/quality --> No option to select Color (Black& White) or Color.
Device Surface pro 7- Windows 11. It takes color by default and not able to change it to black and white while printing.
Please help

Hi,
Download and isntall your printer full feature software below, following the installation check for any difference:
If the same still persists following the installation, right-click the Start button and select Run, type CONTROL PRINTERS and press OK.
Right click your printer icon and select Printer Properties, then click the Advanced tab.
Click the New Driver button and be sure to select your printer model from within the list, then check for any difference.

Hi ShlomiL, Thanks for your reply. i tried to follow the steps. unfortunately it did not resolve the issue.
i installed the software. i updated the drivers as well. Just for information, i have another laptop on Windows 10 connecting to the same printer , those options are available are for that device. I vaguely remember before upgrading to Windows 11, the option was available on my Surface as well. Seems something to do with Windows 11 incompatibility.

Hi @C2Mi,
Please clarify your intention with "the third option", which exact option is missing?
