I have the disk for OfficeJet Pro 8600.  I have a new Windows 8 HP laptop and it tells me it can't install because I don't have earlier MS OS ( WIN 7, ie)  Is the new driver available?

I have downloaded the recommended FULL driver for the 8600 Plus all-in-one but when it installs, it installs as a BASIC installation and the resultant printer assistant does not allow scans. How do I get the scan option to work?

The HP Printer Install Wizard is a support application from HP that assisted in downloading printer software. This support application is no longer supported by HP. The last update to this software was on September 22, 2015.
