I would like to connect my HP 2700 by wire, instead of wifi. How could I do it?

USB is the only wired connection available for that printer model.

And, how should I proceed? Is it just to connect the printer to an USB port of a computer, and then follow some directions appearing in my screen?

First run setup, during the process you will be asked to choose USB connection then you need to connect the printer, not earlyer.
