My HP Officejet 7612 was previously working wirelessly, recently I have moved and I have been trying to connect it to the  WiFi but  I can't....instead it said, "Wireless communication has been locked, contact your network administrator blah blah blah".

Please help ASAP

Regards

Thank you for replying with those details,
I seem to have tagged you into another post, hence the post you've mentioned above showed up,

Nevertheless, I've learnt my lesson, thank you again for providing the details 😉

I have the details of performing a semi-reset on your printer to fix the issue:

Partial Reset: Unplug power cable when the printer is on. Then press and hold # and 3, and then plug the power cable back. Continue holding the button for 20 seconds.

Semi-Full reset: Repeat same procedure, but press and hold # and 6.

Dear HP Employee,

Thank you for referring me to the link that never worked for me...The link you asked me to click talked about the solution sent to the user, the user problem was solved because HP Employee sent some information that helped in solving the wireless communication problem. please see the following message in quotes

"If the wireless has been disabled and are unable to turn it on from the printer's front panel menu, we will need to reset the printer to factory settings to correct this. I can send you that information in a private message. In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it."

If I can get the same information sent to that user, maybe my problem can get solved after all ,instead of referring me to some immature link that won't help me. Disappointed in HP now.

I have reset printer setting, yet the problem persisted
