HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1200w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello world!

My printer is an HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1200w. I bought it roughly one year ago and have always been using it through the wireless network.

One day, recently, the WiFi icon on the printer turned orange. It does NOT blink. The printer is no more detected on the computer and it looks like there is no software thing I can do. The issue seems to come from the printer itself but I have no idea what it may be. To my knowledge, there has been no hardware damage (and I have unplugged/plugged the printer back several times to no avail).

How could I make this WiFi icon/light turn blue again?

Thanks,

Hi @BALGfan,

I'd like to help!

I understand the wireless is glowing amber and you are unable to print to the device.

The Wireless icon being amber indicates that the printer is unable to establish a connection.

Connect your printer to a wireless network using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

Before you can connect your printer to a wireless network using WPS, make sure you have the following:

● A wireless 802.11b/g/n network that includes a WPS-enabled wireless router or access point

NOTE: The printer only supports connections using 2.4 GHz.

● A computer connected to the wireless network that you intend to connect the printer to.

Be sure you have installed the HP printer software on the computer.

If you have a WPS router with a WPS push button,

Follow the Push Button method.

To use the Push Button Configuration (PBC) method

1. Press and hold the Wireless button for at least three seconds to start WPS Push Button method.

2. Press the WPS button on your router.

NOTE: The product begins a timer for approximately two minutes while a wireless connection is established.

You may refer to -Wireless connection is lost after router or network settings change

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
