HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is there a way to use my four HP printers (HP4100, B210, HP6520 and HP 5740) without having HP Smart on my PC? I have all but the 5750 (USB connected) on my network, all properly identified, but HP Smart never seems happy without my signing in, which, invariably, leads to password problems or something else. What happened to connecting a printer to a PC and having the two work in consonance?

@Boatschooler69, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

Yes, you can use the printers without installing the HP smart app.

You may install the full feature printer driver on the computer. However, you will have to install the driver for all 4 printers individually.

Go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

However, in HP Smart app, you can see/control all 4 printers in one single app.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
