HP LaserJet Pro M15w Printer

Dear friends at HP,

I'm an M.I.T. graduate, and a professional computer programmer, who is

having trouble getting an HP M15w printer to work with a computer

running linux.

I bought the HP M15w because it was advertised as having a linux
driver. I have not found, on your web sites, information that
allows me to make the printer function with a linux machine. I
have installed these debian packages:

libc6-udeb_2.31-13+deb11u4_i386.udeb
libusbredirparser1_0.8.0-1+b1_i386.deb OK
libudev1-udeb_247.3-7+deb11u1_i386.udeb

libsnmp40_5.9+dfsg-4+deb11u1_i386.deb

Your hplip-3.23.12.run script thinks that I do not have
these packages installed, which are in fact installed
cups
cups-devel
cups-image
gcc
libusb
sane-devel
libavahi-dev
libnetsnmp-devel

It would be adequate for me if I could find what bytes I can send
to the printer that will make it

- print a fixed-size black-and-white bitmap
- onto an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper, and then
- eject the page from the printer.

Can you direct me to documentation that shows me this? Or could
someone just send me an email that tells me what sequence of bytes
this would be?

I would then be willing to buy more HP products in the future, and
to recommend them to my clients, professional associates, and friends.

Thank you kindly for your help.

Very truly yours,

Lyman Opie
