Universal Print Driver PCL 6 V6.7.0
Microsoft Windows Server 2016

We have and old print server running on Windows Server 2008, were we have several old drivers. It is running OK but we need to upgrade.

Therefore we have installed a Windows 2016 server were we have both 6.7.0 and 6.6.5 installed for the printers.

Problem: Whenever we are printing using Windows apps (doesn´t matter if it´s Windows Photo, Edge or any other Windows Apps) the Job Storage pop-up does not pop up.

But when controlling the actual printer a work folder has appeared, but with the name of the admin that has created the printer on the server. That just so happen to me, on all printers.

If we print from Office 2019 the pop-up appears and on the printer it shows the name of the user that printed the document.

Searching the web I found this, but with no solution.

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/545ca411-39a2-4841-9487-c9a6426b40e7/printing-from...

We have tried: Different drivers, Different printers, different computers, different users.

It appears to be a problem between the two universal print drivers, but I cannot tell if it´s HP or Microsoft.

Anyone has any ideas?
