Although I found the HP Community and HP Website helpful, I reccomend that HP add to their website a historical list of devices by model and the years those models were produced.  The military procurement process, our devices have a sercie life expectancy and we must track the life cycle of each device.  When replacing devices that are past their life cycle or are broken, the requisition paperwork requires us to enter the date the device was placed into service.  With military personnel rotating every three years to new duty stations, the life cycle start date gets lost.  If the HP website had alist of deivces by model and the years of production, we could produce our requistion paperwork a lot faster and more accurate. Without this on the website, I have to call HP customer service, get transfered numerous time, talk to various technicians before I can track down the production years.  It would save both of us a lot of time.

Hi @MarineCWO4 ,

Maybe this could help you,

but you can find the Manufacture Date if you check in the backside a Label with printer Serial number and related information.

Like this one: Manufacture Date:  June, 2019

Also for some Officejet printers you can find that information if you check down in the Paper Tray an Engraved manufacture date.

it may look like this one:   Date: 7Month: 1 - January Year: 19 - 2019  >> 7, January, 2019

Hope this information helps you with paperwork.

Best regards,

ferRX.
