access to Microsoft store blocked. Need alternate method of driver install for new HP ENVY Pro 6455

I cannot download 123.hp.com as access to Microsoft Store is blocked on company computers. I need the drivers to use my new printer.

We hear about this on occasion.

Unfortunately, there is no alternative to download and install HP Smart for Windows.

You must have access to the Microsoft Store.

OR

I would guess that if your IT department wants you to have access to the app, they can / could / might be willing to configure each computer separately using their admin access to override the restriction - and then re-release the computer back to you.

What else?

If you are allowed to use Mobile device setup, you can set up the printer using HP Smart Mobile.

Barring that, I would guess this is not the best printer for your work environment since it does require access to tools generally available to home users but not necessarily those working in a restricted / controlled network.

Your IT department, having closed access, may be able to help figure out how to manage the printer.
