Hello,
I'm getting unsuccessful alignment after triple cleaning. Cyan does not print. I am using clean unused paper and original hp ink cartridges (both just replaced). Any fixes known for this??

@klue9, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Cyan cartridge that does not print!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP ENVY Photo 7855 isn’t aligning properly, especially after multiple cleaning attempts. Let’s try a few steps to get this sorted out.
Since you’ve already replaced the ink cartridges with original HP ones and used clean paper, the next thing to check is whether the printer is recognizing the cartridges correctly. Here’s what I’d recommend:
Check Ink Levels – Even though the cartridges are new, open HP Smart or your printer settings to verify if the printer detects sufficient ink in the cyan cartridge.
Manually Clean the Printhead – Sometimes, the automatic cleaning isn’t enough. You can remove the cartridges and gently clean the printhead with a lint-free cloth and a bit of distilled water (avoid touching the nozzles directly).
Try a Different Alignment Method – Instead of relying on auto-alignment, you can try manually aligning the printhead via the printer settings:
Go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Align Printhead on the printer’s control panel.
Firmware Update – Ensure your printer is running the latest firmware. You can check for updates in the HP Smart app or on the printer’s touchscreen under Setup > Printer Updates.
Print a Diagnostic Page – Run a Print Quality Diagnostic Report (Setup > Reports > Print Quality Report) and see if cyan appears anywhere. If it’s missing, the printhead might need deeper cleaning or a replacement.
If you’ve tried all of this and cyan is still not printing, there’s a possibility of a clogged printhead or a hardware issue. Let me know how it goes, and I’d be happy to help further!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
