officejet 8620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a one year old HP Pavilion laptop that has been perfect until I replaced my HP 8620 officejet printer with an identical one I bought from a friend that worked perfectly. i brought it home and it installed easily and worked as it should. during the installation i was advised to update drivers from the hp site. i did that and everything seemed fine. The next day and every after that I get this annoying popup (see attachment) and I have been unable to identify what program is running to cause this. Any ideas?210714 annoying popup Screenshot 2021-07-14 090831.png

@4evr49, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

This looks like a pop-up from the HP Support Assistant application. If you are using the same account on 2 different computers, you may get this notification.

You may uninstall this application from the computer. It is not required for printer functionality.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
