I uninstalled all HP software on my Windows 11 machine because of insurmountable scan to computer problems, thinking it would be easy to reinstall the software. I then downloaded EasyStart and began the reinstallation process. I made exceptions in my security software, and when the installation seemed slow, went into Task Manager and prevented Microsoft from slowing processes down. I have rebooted. I have restarted the router. Installation has taken hours, but there is no way to tell if this is normal. I have started the process twice, once after it ran over two hours. This machine has a wireless connection. Router, laptop, and printer are in close proximity.

I recommend to use Install HP app to complete setup and support which is shown there
