Product: HP DeskJet 2752e All-in-One Printer

I am installing my printer for the first time.  I have a HP DeskJet 2752e all-in-one printer and a Mac running OS Ventura 13.5.  I can print from my phone just fine.  I have downloaded the zip file on my computer.  When I get to the download and install the recommended software I get an error code stating:  Cannot obtain software information.  Check your network connection, and then try again.  There is no issue with my internet connection.  I have added my printer to my computer and printer is showing up on wifi list.  What is my list of troubleshooting ideas.  I am close to computer illiterate.
