HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer

hi my  hp 6455e all in one printer will not print though it has ink and is online and there was a recent change of network, but i suspect something in printer setup is off and printer was working just fine before so it's not a hardware issue

If your HP Envy 6455e printer is showing as online but is not printing, especially after a recent network change, the issue is likely related to the printer’s configuration or connectivity settings. Here are some troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem:

1. Check Printer Connection

Verify Network Connection:

  • Ensure Network Connectivity: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. Sometimes, after a network change, devices may need to reconnect or reconfigure.

Reconfigure Network Settings:

  • Reconnect to Wi-Fi: On your printer’s control panel, go to the wireless settings menu and select your new Wi-Fi network. Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted.

2. Restart Devices

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn Off: Switch off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug: Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait: Leave it unplugged for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect and Restart: Plug it back in and turn it on.

Restart Your Computer:

  • Reboot: Restart your computer to refresh the system and reconnect to the printer.

3. Update Printer Driver and Software

Update Drivers:

  • Download Latest Drivers: Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the HP Envy 6455e. Install the drivers and restart your computer.

HP Smart App:

  • Check HP Smart: Open the HP Smart app and ensure that the printer is correctly set up. The app might also prompt you to install updates or perform setup tasks.

4. Check Printer Queue and Settings

Clear Print Queue:
