To resolve the scanning issue with your HP 8034e All-in-One printer and your Windows 11 HP Omni Book laptop, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Check Printer and Scanner Connection
- Ensure the printer is powered on and properly connected to your laptop via USB cable or Wi-Fi.
- Run a printer self-test to confirm it is operational.
Step 2: Install or Update HP Software
Install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store:
- Open the Microsoft Store.
- Search for "HP Smart".
- Download and install the app.
Update or re-install the HP drivers and software:
- Visit the HP Support website.
- Search for your printer model, HP 8034e.
- Download and install the latest Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Step 3: Set the Scanner in HP Smart
- Open the HP Smart app.
- Select "Set up a new device" if your printer is not already shown.
- After ensuring that the printer is displayed, click on the printer icon to access printer details.
- Select Scan and check if you can initiate a scan from the app.
