HP Officejet 4630
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

The clock on my printer/fax has somehow become several hours off and I cannot find any way to re-set it.  I have gone through the entire menu on the machine itself under tools, advanced settings etc., and there is no option or menu to reset it. And I tried using the icon on my computer to take me through the steps and still no place to change the time.

I asked at Office Max where I purchased the printer, and was told I might try the restore to defaults, which I did but there still was no way to reset the clock. The only thing I can do is change the name on the fax header. This should be a simple thing to do and when I purchased the printer I had to have input the correct time. Now the problem is that when we send a fax it has the incorrect time on it. It is currently 11:13 AM and the clock on my printer reads 06:12PM.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated. This printer has worked flawlessly since I purchased it and I cannot see replacing it for such a simple thing as a clock issue.

The printer Date/Time setting is hidden in the printer control panel Preferences menu.

Scroll up/down (arrows) to find Preferences > look for Date/Time

It may be necessary to restart the printer after the setting.  ??
