Hi @MKsizwe,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're having trouble connecting your HP LaserJet P2015n printer to Windows 11, here are some general steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

  1. Check Physical Connections:

    • Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer via a USB cable or a network connection.
    • If you are using a network connection, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
  2. Power Cycle:

    • Turn off both your printer and your computer.
    • Wait for a few minutes, then turn on the printer and the computer.
  3. Device Manager:

    • Open the Device Manager on your Windows 11 computer.
    • Look for the printer under the "Print queues" or "Other devices" section.
    • If you see your printer listed with an exclamation mark or if it's not listed at all, there may be an issue with the driver.
  4. Install or Update Drivers:

    • Visit the HP official website or use the Windows Update to download and install the latest drivers for your HP P2015n printer.
    • If you have the printer installation CD, you can also use it to install the drivers.
  5. Windows Troubleshooter:

    • Run the built-in Windows Printer Troubleshooter:
      • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
      • Select "Printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. Check Printer Status:

    • Make sure there are no error messages or issues displayed on the printer's control panel.
  7. Firewall and Antivirus:

    • Check if your firewall or antivirus software is blocking the printer connection. Temporarily disable them and see if the printer connects.
  8. Network Configuration:

    • If your printer is on a network, ensure that it has a valid IP address.
    • Verify that your computer is on the same network.
  9. Reinstall the Printer:

    • Remove the printer from your computer and then reinstall it.
      • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
      • Select the printer and click "Remove device."
      • Follow the prompts to reinstall the printer.
  10. Manual IP Configuration (for network printers):

    • If your printer is on a network, consider assigning a static IP address to the printer manually. Consult your printer's manual for instructions.
  11. Update Windows:

    • Make sure your Windows 11 is up to date with the latest updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
