control panel locked and I didnt set a user name or password. How can I override???

My printer keeps saying it is not connected to the internet and HP instant Ink. I try to fix but it routes me to the control panel and asks for a username and password.  I am the only owner of this device and have NEVER set up a user/pass combo on this.  I have tried all my usual ones just in case.   Everytime I print anything, i have to clear the notice that the printer is not connected.  Support cant help because it wont connect.   I had my IT guy check and he couldnt get around it too. 

I need to override the user/pass on the control panel lock so I can reset the printer to default. How can i override this?

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
