I used to print successfully using almost all width and height of piece of paper but now. I didn’t notice what time exactly it changed. Now setting A4 prints all width but does not "see" last line at the bottom. Setting A4+12 prints last line well but does not print first and last letters in the lines. Manual settings are not helpful at all. I doubt anyone else prints papers that way without margins so I can’t find such topic anywhere. I think the point is the driver. Can I be provided previous driver?

Hi! @dringo13, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand when you print from your printer the last lines are missing from the printouts.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Does the issue persist when you make a copy from your printer?
Have you tried printing from a different application? Does the issue persist?
Have you tried checking with a different brand paper?
As you mentioned when you print from your printer the last lines are missing from the printouts.
Replace low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer.
Try the steps recommended below.
There is one setting in the driver which you can check. It's called Preserve Layout. Make sure that it is set to Yes.
You can find this setting here: Start>Devices and Printers>Your printer driver>
Right click and go to Printer Preferences>Advanced
Check the paper
Verify that the paper type is appropriate for the project. If the paper is too fibrous, the ink applied by the printer might not fully cover the print surface.
Step two: Check the print settings
-
In the software application, you are trying to print from, click File and then click Print. The Print dialog box opens.
-
Verify that your printer is selected and then click Properties. The printer Properties dialog box opens.
-
Click the Printing Shortcuts tab.
-
In the What do you want to do? menu, select a task.
The What do you want to do? menu lists most printing needs, but you might need to modify some of the options.
Options on the Printing Shortcuts tab include:
-
Print quality: If you are unhappy with the quality of your printouts, try increasing the print quality. To print more quickly, try decreasing the print quality.
-
Paper type: If one of the options matches your paper type exactly, choose it rather than Automatic.
-
Paper size: Make sure this matches your paper.
-
If the copy works fine try uninstalling the printer drivers from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software and check if it helps.
In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
Select your HP printer.
Select Uninstall.
In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
Click on Drivers tab.
Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
Select OK.
Update the full feature printer software using this link: https://hp.care/2MizQWE
Also, if the issue persists install windows built-in drivers and check if it works.

@dringo13, Thank for your quick response and time.
I appreciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you mentioned the issue persists while printing from word and PDF but the copy works fine on your printer.
Did you try uninstalling and reinstall the full feature printer software?
If you have not tried the steps, please try the steps recommended from my previous thread as it certainly looks to be a driver issue.
Also, if the issue still persists try installing windows built in drivers.
Please mark my post as accepted solution if you feel I have answered your query.
Let me know how it goes!

I seem to be the last user of this ancient device.
My driver is set auto by windows-10, I tried to install full HP programe (2014) before but failed (as I hadnt uninstalled first). Now I'll try again. It'll take time.
You were right to try to copy. It did fine in height but snipped slightly in width on both sides.

Now both kinds of reinstallation (HP driver and w-10 built-in) completed with no change. I'm starting to doubt whether I realy managed to make this printer print full size. Anyway thanks a lot for reasonable advice!

I appriciate your efforts for writing back to us again.
As you mentioned the issue still persists after trying out the steps.
Since the issue persists while making a copy from your printer.
It certainly looks to be a hardware issue with your printer.
