There is no mention of fax hardware in the printer's user manual nor do I find mention of Fax hardware in the specifications.

Reference:

The printer does not have any fax hardware

The printer cannot fax.

The Datasheet mentions HP Mobile Fax -

Printer is not necessary to use HP Mobile Fax.

The app is "send only" - to date, Mobile Fax cannot receive faxes.
