The Full Feature Software is dated 2015. Windows 10 has changed quite a bit since its introduction - some older software (and even some newer printer software) might have issues.
The software might still install and run in your Windows 10 invironment.
Download issues are something for which there is no "outside" fix. That is, you must be able to download the executable installation package and save it on your computer to install the printer software.
Try / Consider:
- Use a different browser
- Make sure you are downloading the file to your Downloads folder and not a restricted part of the computer
- Close other software that might be interfering with your bandwidth - for example, close games, email, other "web based" programs
USB concerns during installation of the software:
- If the USB cable between the printer and the computer is connected, disconnect the cable before you start the installation.
- Connect the USB cable only when instructed to do so toward the end of the installation procedure.
If the printer installation balks during the connection phase (toward the end of the installation procedure) and nothing you do resolves the issue, consider installing the software in compatibility mode.
Method – Manual – Set Compatibility
Download and Save the Full Feature Software to your computer
Navigate to your Downloads folder and open the folder so you can view the contents
Right-Click on the downloaded installation file > Properties > Compatibility
Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for"
Select Windows 7
Click Apply and OK to close the Properties menu
Right-Click on the program and select to Run as Administrator
After the software installs, Restart the computer and log in.
