Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Can someone help me on how to get driver for HP Laserjet 1020 plus for MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6

Hi,

The Laserjet 1020 printer is not officially supported on Mac OS X.

 

As a workaround you may install an alternate driver as following:

  1. Connect the printer to your Mac and ensure it is power on and ready.
  2. Download and install the following package from apple:
    https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1888?locale=en_US
  3. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  4. Click the plus sign and select the listed 1020 printer.
  5. Within the Use drop down menu click on Select Printer Software.
  6. Locate and select the HP Laseret 1022 model and press Add.

Now try printing with the newly created print queue.
