Hi All,

 

I'm trying to install the driver for my HP Laserjet P1005 on windows 10 64 Bit. I've already downloaded the latest version of drivers available at https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-laserjet-p1005-printer/3435674 link (driver version 2013). When I try to install it, the installation page crashes  and the drivers were not installed. On the Windows event viewer I can see an error 1000 on application ProductInst.exe.

 

I've tried to elevate my autorizations to Administratorwhen I start the exe package, but the issue still persist

 

there is other version, most recent, of the drivers? This is a driver issue....

 

Please could you help me?

Is this Windows 10 64-bit indeed?

 

Is your operating system language is English or Italian?

 

Assuming it is Italian 64-bit OS, please try below drivers and check for any difference:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL21058/bi-55372-7/ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-it.exe

Assuming it is Italian 64-bit OS, please try below drivers and check for any difference:

the issue was that it was needed the IT drivers.
