Hi @Joe0662

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I'm truly sorry you're facing this—when your HP DeskJet 4155e shows a solid amber light and blinking Wi-Fi, paired with a driver issue, it can feel like everything’s stuck just short of working.

Let’s walk through a few clear steps to get your printer and drivers back in sync.

Step 1: Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

  1. On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds.
  2. This resets the wireless settings and prepares the printer for reconnection.

Step 2: Reinstall the Printer Driver Using the HP App

Download the HP App from:
https://www.hp.com/in-en/shop/apps/hp-app.html

Open the app and click Add Printer.

Follow the guided steps to reconnect your printer to Wi-Fi and install the correct driver.

This ensures the latest driver is installed and linked to your current network.

Step 3: Manually Download the Full Driver Package

Visit the official driver page for your printer:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-4155e-all-in-one-printer/2100187609

Select Windows 11 or Windows 10, depending on your system.

Download and install the HP Easy Start Printer Setup Software or Full Software Solution listed under “Driver-Product Installation Software”.

Step 4: Check Windows Settings for Driver Conflicts

  1. Press Windows + I → go to Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
  2. Remove the HP DeskJet 4155e if listed.
  3. Reinstall it using the HP App or the downloaded driver.

Step 5: Confirm Wi-Fi Connection

  • The blinking blue Wi-Fi light means the printer is not yet connected to your network.
  • Once setup is complete, the light should turn solid blue.

Let me know how it goes after these steps. You’re doing everything right by checking early—let’s bring your printer back to life and get those pages flowing again.
