I was setting up a new printer on hpsmart.com in order to eprint.
I changed the default email for eprint to a desired email.
Printing did not work so I restarted the connection and registration proccess. In this process I generated a new code to identify the printer on hpsmart.com.
Now printing works, but it says the desired email is taken. It seems to be associated with the original code I provided when identifying the printer.
Is there any way to use my desired email address or is it forever tied to the original printer ID code?
Do eprint email addresses expire after a certain period of time?
Thanks.

Hi,
When you turn off web services for the printer, the previous address cannot be used for six months.
