Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Can't print due to "encryption credentials expired".  There are instructions on how to fix this however when using the HP app I am instructed to select Security within Printer Settings.  The option is present but faded such that I cannot access it.  All options within Printer Settings are faded and inaccessible.  "View all" is accessible but only takes me to a blank page.   I am trying to get some online assistance to update the certificate which apparently is what is required to get my printer printing again.  Please Help.
