Hi @TangoRules4Sure,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error code 0x000000709 on an HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28w usually indicates that there is a problem with the printer driver or software. Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue.

  1. Make sure the printer is properly connected to your computer and turned on.
  2. Uninstall any previously installed printer drivers or software.
  3. Download and install the latest printer drivers and software from the HP website.
  4. Restart your computer and try to install the printer again.
  5. If the issue persists, try connecting the printer to a different USB port on your computer.
  6. If you are still unable to install or use the printer, contact HP support for further assistance.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue with your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
