I have issues with my printer giving error code B3DE3BEB. The printer won't do anything until I disconnect the power source and then plug it back in.  In addition, there seems to be a problem with printing from my PC or my phone.  I see it listed on our network, I select the proper printer (we have more than one) and even when it seems like it received the printer job it never prints.

Hi @anselliott,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error code B3DE3BEB on HP printers often indicates a hardware or firmware issue. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Turn the printer back on.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Visit the HP support website and check if there is a firmware update available for your printer model.
  • Follow the instructions on the website to download and install the latest firmware.

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is properly connected to your network.
  • Check the printer's IP address and make sure it matches the one listed on your PC or phone.
  • Restart your router and the printer to refresh the network connection.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • On your PC, go to the Device Manager and uninstall the printer drivers.
  • Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Install the new drivers and restart your PC.

Reset the Printer:

  • Access the printer's control panel and navigate to the 'Settings' or 'Setup' menu.
  • Look for an option to restore factory defaults or reset the printer.
  • Confirm the reset and wait for the printer to restart.

Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions:

  • Open the printer's access panels and check for any paper jams or obstructions.
  • Clear any jams or debris and ensure there are no torn pieces of paper stuck inside.

Test with Different Devices:

  • Try printing from another device (e.g., another PC, tablet, or phone) to see if the issue persists.
  • If the printer works with other devices, the issue might be with your original device's configuration.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility from the HP website.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and fix the problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
