Hi, I've been struggling with a HP photosmart C4480 which won't print and keeps showing 'incompatible print cartridge(s). In my attempts to fix it I did manage to print an alignment page once and I know the cartridges are the right type and correctly installed. I've tried many times to reset it by unplugging etc. I suspect it's to do with the software but not sure. I gather it might be helpful to take out the rechargeable battery and put back in, but I don't know if my machine has one or where to look for it. Any suggestions welcome! Thanks.

Ps It's an old printer, no not teething troubles. If time to replace, any advice wlecome. Thanks again!
