hello, I had created a password my printer. However I was never able to log in, kept getting an error message. Now I forgot the password so I'm just trying to factory reset the whole printer. I know Ive seen ews somewhere when I have tried to find a solution.

I understand you are not able to access the EWS page of the printer. Unfortunately, this model printer does not have an option to perform an NVRAM reset to resolve this issue.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region for further assistance or service/replacement options for your printer.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
