HP Office Jet Pro 8620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Following a power outage (stormy weather) on 6/3/2020,  The message of Paper Jam  was on.  I checked the ADF and found no paper in or under the roller of the ADF.  I unplugged the cord from printer and wall and waited several minutes before restarting the  printer.  The message is still there.  when I press the OK,  the wheels turn on the roller but even checking the duplexer (which I use often)  did not produce any change.   The printer will print from my computer.  But,  I can't use any function from the printer display because the error can not be put aside.  Therefore can not copy from documents that would be fed through the ADF  Can this be fixed or not?

Hi @wyomissing8620

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

This looks like an issue with the sensors, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
