Hi @Go_phr,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to resolve the issue where your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e All-in-One Printer displays a "fax sent" message but does not print a transmission report, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Fax Settings

  • Verify the setting for fax transmission reports:
Ensure the fax transmission report setting is enabled. Here's how:
    • On the printer's control panel, press the Setup icon (gear symbol).
    • Select Fax Settings.
    • Go to Fax Reports and ensure the Transmission Report is set to On.

2. Ensure Sufficient Paper

  • Check paper availability:
Make sure there is enough paper in the input tray. Sometimes, the fax report will not print if the paper tray is empty or low on paper.

3. Check Printer’s Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Update the firmware:
Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date, as outdated firmware might cause issues with faxing. You can check for updates using the HP Smart app or on the printer's settings page through the web interface.

4. Reset Fax Settings

  • Reset fax settings:
If the above steps don't work, try resetting the fax settings to their default state:
    • From the printer's control panel, navigate to Setup > Fax Setup > Restore Defaults.

5. Test the Fax Function

  • Send a test fax:
After checking these settings, try sending a test fax and check if the transmission report prints.
