Hi @jah1208,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding firmware update!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these troubleshooting steps:
1. Check Internet Connection
Ensure your printer and computer are connected to a stable internet connection. If using Wi-Fi, restart your router.
2. Restart Devices
- Power off the printer and unplug it for 2–3 minutes.
- Restart your computer.
- Turn the printer back on and try again.
3. Use HP Smart App for Firmware Update
- Download HP Smart from the HP website.
- Open HP Smart and add your printer if not already added.
- Go to Printer Settings → Advanced Settings.
- Look for Firmware Update and install it.
4. Update Firmware Manually
- Visit the HP Support website.
- Enter your printer model: HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e.
- Go to Drivers & Downloads → Firmware.
- Download and install the latest firmware file.
5. Disable VPN or Firewall Temporarily
If you’re using a VPN or firewall, disable it temporarily and try downloading the firmware update.
6. Try a Different Computer or Connection
- If possible, use another computer to download the update.
- Try using a wired (Ethernet) connection instead of Wi-Fi.
