Hi @jah1208,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding firmware update!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Internet Connection

Ensure your printer and computer are connected to a stable internet connection. If using Wi-Fi, restart your router.

2. Restart Devices

  • Power off the printer and unplug it for 2–3 minutes.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Turn the printer back on and try again.

3. Use HP Smart App for Firmware Update

  1. Download HP Smart from the HP website.
  2. Open HP Smart and add your printer if not already added.
  3. Go to Printer Settings → Advanced Settings.
  4. Look for Firmware Update and install it.

4. Update Firmware Manually

  1. Visit the HP Support website.
  2. Enter your printer model: HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e.
  3. Go to Drivers & Downloads → Firmware.
  4. Download and install the latest firmware file.

5. Disable VPN or Firewall Temporarily

If you’re using a VPN or firewall, disable it temporarily and try downloading the firmware update.

6. Try a Different Computer or Connection

  • If possible, use another computer to download the update.
  • Try using a wired (Ethernet) connection instead of Wi-Fi.

Let me know if you need more help! 😊
