@WayneKNC, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Fixing Date and Time on HP Printers!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Setting the date and time on your HP printer is important for proper functionality, including features like job accounting. Here's how you can set the date and time on various HP printers:

For Printers with Embedded Web Server:

  1. Access the Setup Tab: Go to the Setup tab in the Embedded Web Server.
  2. Select Date & Time: Select the Date & Time settings and adjust accordingly.

For Printers with Front Panel Controls:

  1. Open Setup Menu:
    • HP Designjet Series: Press the Setup menu icon, then navigate through Front panel options > Date and time options.
    • Select Set date or Set time or Set time zone based on your requirements.
    • Use the keyboard on the printer to input the settings.

Manual Setup via Printer's Notification:

  1. Response to Prompt:
    • When prompted by the printer, press the OK or checkmark button to set the date and time.
    • Alternatively, press the Stop button if you wish to skip setup.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
