Microsoft Windows 11

I have moved from Florida to Kansas, I have changed networks successfully on my computer, but my hp 6065e wireless printer will not connect with the new router.

I am 79 years old I do not know how to do any of these functions.  the only thing that makes sense to me is that the computer, which works fine and has accepted the new router, does not recognize the printer and it will not let me add a new printer

@john1469, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand it can be frustrating to reconnect devices after a move—I'm here to guide you through it, step by step.

Your HP ENVY Inspire 6065e printer is no longer connected after changing networks, and your Windows 11 computer isn’t able to find or add the printer.

No worries! Since your Wi-Fi network has changed, we’ll need to reconnect your printer to the new Wi-Fi. Here’s a simple way to do that.

1. Turn on your printer and make sure it is in a ready state.

2. Restore Network Settings:

On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button for at least three seconds.

3. Connect to Wi-Fi:

Using WPS: Press the WPS button on your router, then press and hold the Wireless button on your printer until the wireless light starts blinking. Wait for the connection to establish.

Using HP Smart App: Download the HP Smart app on your device, open it, and follow the prompts to add your printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network. HP Smart
