If you need to turn off your HP Deskjet 2722 printer without using the physical power button on the printer, you can follow these instructions using the printer software on your computer:

 

Open the Printer Software:

  • Windows 10: Click on the Start menu, go to All Apps, select HP, and then click HP Deskjet 2722 series.

 

Access Printer Settings:

  • In the printer software, select Print & Scan.
  • Click on Maintain Your Printer to open the printer toolbox.

 

Advanced Settings:

  • In the toolbox, click Advanced Settings.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to change the settings.

 

For additional features like scheduling the printer to turn off after a specific period of inactivity, or accessing other power management settings, refer to the Auto-Off feature in the guidelines provided.
