@jdandshar, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To change the SSID (network name) on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 Series printer, you need to connect it to a different wireless network or modify the network settings. Here is a general guide to assist you:

Access the Printer's Control Panel:

  • Power on the printer and ensure the control panel is visible.
  • Tap the Wireless icon on the home screen to initiate wireless settings.

Change Wireless Network Settings:

  • If the printer is already connected to a network, you may need to disconnect first.
  • Use the control panel to navigate to Network Setup or Wireless Setup Wizard. This option scans for available networks.

Select or Enter New Network Name (SSID):

  • You can select a new network from the list of detected networks or manually enter the new SSID if it is not visible.
  • For manual entry, choose Enter New Network Name and input the SSID using the control panel's on-screen keyboard.

Enter the Network Password:

  • If your network requires a password (WEP key or WPA passphrase), ensure that you enter it correctly.

Confirm the Connection:

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process. Your printer will attempt to connect to the updated SSID.
  • A steady blue wireless light indicates successful connectivity to the new network.

Install or Reconfigure Software, if Required:

  • If you previously installed printer software, you might need to reconfigure settings to align with the new SSID.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
