Hi @gateway2025,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you want to install software for your HP mobile scanner. Let’s go through the steps.

Identify Your Scanner Model

Check the exact model number of your mobile scanner (usually on the device or in the manual).

This ensures you download the correct software.

Visit HP Support Website

Go to HP Customer Support – Software & Drivers.

Enter your scanner model and select your operating system (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).

Download the Scanner Software or App

For Windows or Mac, download the full feature driver and software package.

For mobile devices (iOS/Android), download the HP Smart app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

The HP Smart app supports scanning from your mobile device directly.

Install the Software / App

Desktop: Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

Mobile: Open HP Smart, sign in with your HP account (or create one), and add your scanner to the app.

Connect the Scanner

Ensure your scanner is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.

Some scanners also support USB or Bluetooth connections—choose the method supported by your model.

I hope this helps.
