Hi @zaidnomar951

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your printer is asking for the administrator password to access the Wi-Fi settings.

Here are some steps to help you resolve this:

Step 1: Check for Default Password

  1. Look for a default password on a label on the printer itself. It might be listed as "Admin Password" or "WPS PIN."

Step 2: Access the Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  1. Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable or via Wi-Fi Direct.
  2. Open a web browser and enter the printer's IP address (you can find this on the printer's control panel or by printing a network configuration page).
  3. Log in to the EWS using the admin credentials. If you don’t know the password, you may need to reset it as mentioned above.

If the above steps did not resolve the issue, we need to reset the printer using a key combination.

I'm sending you a private message to guide you on the next steps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
