Hi @Pianopete,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To stop your HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e series printer from printing double-sided (duplex), you can adjust the print settings on your computer or device. Here’s how you can do it:

On a Mac:

Open the Document:

  • Open the document you want to print.

Access Print Dialog:

  • Click File in the menu bar and select Print (or press Command + P).

Show Details:

  • In the print dialog, click Show Details if the details are hidden.

Disable Two-Sided Printing:

  • Look for the Two-Sided or Duplex Printing option.
  • Uncheck the Two-Sided option.

Save Settings:

  • You can save these settings as a preset for future prints. Click Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset and give it a name like "Single-Sided Printing."

Print:

  • Click Print to print your document single-sided.

On Windows:

Open the Document:

  • Open the document you want to print.

Access Print Dialog:

  • Click File and then Print (or press Ctrl + P).

Printer Properties:

  • Select your HP printer and click on Printer Properties or Preferences.

Disable Two-Sided Printing:

  • In the Printer Properties dialog, go to the Printing Shortcuts tab (or a similar tab based on your printer model).
  • Look for an option like Print on Both Sides, Two-Sided Printing, or Duplex Printing.
  • Set this option to Off or None.

Save Settings:

  • You can save these settings as a default for future prints if the option is available.

Print:

  • Click OK and then Print to print your document single-sided.

On iOS Devices:

Open the Document:

  • Open the document or photo you want to print.

Access Print Dialog:

  • Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up).
  • Tap Print.

Printer Options:

  • Select your HP printer.
  • Tap Options.

Disable Double-Sided Printing:

  • Set the Double-sided switch to Off.

Print:

  • Tap Print to print your document single-sided.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
