Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I have to press "ok: for almost every print to choose the available media. I've made sure the settings in the individual print dialog boxes are correct. I went to the setting son the web page for my printer and made changes. It still prompts me. I want the default to be tray 2 unless I specify otherwise.

Hi,

From the Setup menu of your printer select Setup > System Setup > Paper and Tray Management.

 

Ensure the proper size and type are set as the default paper size and type, then change the trays settings to match Any Size or the specific size used.

 

The need to press OK would likely occur due to a wrong paper size selected there.
