Samsung Xpress SL-M2026 Laser Printer prints normally 

Is there a way to check the ink level on linux/ubuntu ?

The installation of "Ink" - the command line tool for checking the ink level of a locally connected printer on a system which runs Linux - did not work since executing "Ink" we get "ink could not get device id and ink level" messages. Any alternative application or package ?

note : test page does not contain any information about the (remaining) ink level
