Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I got a new HP All in  one that has Smart Scan, but I really like the Scan program on my old computer, which is coming from HP Office Jetpro 6970, more options, makes better copies.  New computer does not have CD Drive to install the program.  How can I get it set up on the new computer?  I'm not tech savvy.  I tried to download file from old, but didn't work, unless I didn't do it correctly or had the right file.  Thank you.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-officejet-pro-6970-all-in-one-printer-...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

 

It'll have all the HP FULL software Scan features you're familiar with.

Thank you, it took 2 tries, first one all kinds of screens were popping up about Smart Scan, which I didn't want, but I now have the same program I had before and gave it a test.  Works just like I wanted it too.  Thanks so much for the quick response and help to get this accomplished.
