You can install your HP Envy 6152e printer on your computer via Wi-Fi using the following steps:
Prepare for Installation
- Ensure your printer is powered on.
- Check your Wi-Fi network: The computer and printer should be on the same network.
- Restart your router if needed to ensure a stable connection.
Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi
Option 1: Using HP Smart App (Recommended)
Download and install HP Smart:
- Mac: HP Smart for Mac
Open HP Smart and click on Set up a new printer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to Wi-Fi.
Once connected, install drivers if prompted.
Option 2: Using the Printer's Control Panel
- On the printer's touchscreen, go to:
- Setup → Network Setup → Wireless Settings.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the steps:
- Choose your Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password.
- Press OK to connect.
Install Printer on Your Computer
- If you haven't installed HP Smart, download it using the links above.
- Alternatively, download drivers manually:
- Visit HP Support.
- Search for HP Envy 6152e and download the latest drivers.
- Run the installer and follow the setup instructions.
Add Printer to Mac
For Mac
- Open System Settings → Printers & Scanners.
- Click + to add a printer.
- Select your HP Envy 6152e and click Add.
Print a Test Page
- Try printing a test page to confirm the setup.
