HI @Toorealtobefake,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Getting your HP Envy 4500 e-All-in-One connected to WiFi can be frustrating, especially if you’ve already tried resetting it without success. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Verify Your WiFi Network

Check WiFi Availability:

  • Ensure that your WiFi network is up and running by connecting another device (like a smartphone or computer) to the network.

Verify Network Credentials:

  • Double-check the network name (SSID) and password to ensure they are correct. Remember that WiFi passwords are case-sensitive.

2. Restart Your Printer and Router

Power Cycle Printer:

  • Turn off your printer by pressing the power button, then unplug it from the electrical outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Restart Router:

  • Unplug the router from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for the router to fully restart and stabilize.

3. Connect Printer to WiFi Using the Control Panel

Access Wireless Setup:

  • On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless icon (it looks like a wireless signal or antenna).
  • Navigate to Settings or Setup, then select Wireless Setup Wizard.

Select Network:

  • The printer will search for available networks. Select your WiFi network from the list.

Enter Password:

  • Enter your WiFi password using the printer’s keypad or touchscreen. Make sure to input it correctly.

Confirm Connection:

  • Once you enter the password, confirm the settings and wait for the printer to connect to the network.

4. Use HP Smart App or Software

Download HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app from the HP website or from your device’s app store (available for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android).

Add Printer:

  • Open the HP Smart app and follow the instructions to add your printer. The app will guide you through the process of connecting the printer to your WiFi network.

Follow On-Screen Instructions:

  • The app will prompt you to connect to the WiFi network and may also provide additional troubleshooting tips if needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
