@Stonenat, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Blue Screen Error (BSOD) with All Lights Flashing!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

A blue screen with all lights flashing on an HP device typically indicates a serious error that needs immediate troubleshooting. Here's a systematic guide to diagnose and resolve the issue:

1. Check for Error Codes and Identify the Problem

  • Look for any error messages or codes displayed on the screen. These can help you pinpoint the exact cause of the issue.

2. Perform a Hard Reset

Performing a hard reset can sometimes resolve problems by clearing and re-establishing connections between the BIOS and the hardware.

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Disconnect any peripheral devices, such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
  3. Unplug the AC adapter.
  4. If the device has a removable battery, remove it.
  5. Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to drain residual power.
  6. Reconnect the battery and plug in the AC adapter.
  7. Press the power button to turn the computer on.

3. Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics

HP offers a diagnostics tool to identify hardware issues.

  1. Turn on or restart the computer, quickly press the Esc key, and then press F2.
  2. Use the keyboard arrow keys to select the type of diagnostic test you want to run, such as Quick Test or Extensive Test for a comprehensive diagnostic.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the tests.

If any component fails a test, write down the information and use it when contacting support.

4. Check for Loose Connections

Improper or loose connections can cause errors.

  • Reseat any removable components such as memory modules, hard drives, and battery.
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
