Hi @usa_hal9000,
That's great! Well, sometimes, due to lag, too many applications running, or the internet does not support correctly this would happen.

Hi @usa_hal9000,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are facing issues with the HP firmware updater stuck in MAC OS 10.15.
If the HP firmware updater is stuck on macOS 10.15, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Force Quit the Updater: Press Command + Option + Escape to open the Force Quit Applications window. Select the HP firmware updater from the list and click "Force Quit."
Restart Your Mac: Sometimes, simply restarting your Mac can resolve the issue. After restarting, try running the updater again.
Check for Updates: Make sure that your macOS is up to date. Go to the Apple menu > About This Mac > Software Update, and install any available updates
Download the Firmware Update Again: If the updater is still stuck, try downloading the firmware update again from the HP website and run it.
Run the Updater in Safe Mode: Restart your Mac and hold down the Shift key to boot into Safe Mode. Try running the updater again in Safe Mode.
Reset the Printing System: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, right-click on the printer, and select "Reset printing system." Note that this will remove all printers from your system, so you'll need to add them again.
If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact HP phone support. They will help you via remote assistance.
Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Well, I forced restarted my laptop and I noticed that the printer' updater was " actually completed" successfully. I guess the continuous spinning circle in the middle of the updater windows was a ..harmless glitch.
