Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to install the printer of hp laserjet p1005 on my laptop HP Pavilion Notebook, but the installation process does not proceed till the end. The loading window is loading until it is written "Preinstalling the driver files....", then "Copying files to the hard drive...." and suddenly the loading window disappears without any notification whether the printer has been installed successfully or not.

 

Could you please help me to solve this issue?

Hi,

Such occurs due to using an installation not intended for your OS locale or architecture.

 

Assuming you have a Windows 10 64-bit OS in German, install the printer using below drivers:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL21058/bi-55367-7/ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-de.exe

 

If it fails, please clarify what language your operating system is.

The installation file in the link has directly solved the issue as tha language of my operating system is German.
